Intel Türkiye, Orta Doğu ve Afrika Bölgesi Satış ve Pazarlama Direktörü

1973 yılında doğan Ege Ertem, TED Ankara Koleji’nin ardından 1995 yılında Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi Elektrik ve Elektronik Mühendisliği bölümünden mezun oldu. 1997-2000 yılları arasında Schneider Elektrik’te Teknik ve Ticari Mühendis ve Satış Temsilcisi; ABB’de Satış ve Pazarlama Temsilcisi olarak görev yaptı. 2000 yılının Eylül ayında Müşteri İlişkileri Yöneticisi olarak Intel Türkiye ailesine katıldı. Intel Türkiye’de sırasıyla Pazarlama Müdürü ve Satış Müdürü olarak görev alan Ege Ertem, 2005 yılından Şubat 2008′e kadar Intel’in dünyadaki en genç Genel Müdürü olarak Türkiye ofisinin yönetimini sürdürdü.

Bu süreç içerisinde Ertem ürün satış iletişimini, Intel’in yatırım sermayesi projesini ve çalışanların entegrasyonu gibi programları ilk kez gerçekleştiren Ege Ertem, Türkiye’deki marka tercihinin ve perakende sektöründe pazar payının önemli ölçüde yükselmesini sağladı. Intel’de gerçekleştirilen en iyi pazarlama kampanyaları sıralamasında 5′incilik ödülünü alan projeye liderlik etti.

2008 yılı Şubat ayından bu yana Intel Türkiye, Orta Doğu ve Afrika Bölge Satış ve Pazarlama Direktörlüğü görevini sürdürüyor. Intel’in satış ve pazarlama organizasyonunu, Afrika ve Orta Doğudaki liderliği yanı sıra, Intel’in dünyadaki gelişmekte olan pazarlar startejilerinde önemli bir çok projeyi yürütmektedir.

Alkollü araç kullanan arkadaşının ehliyetine el konulduğunda yarattıkları Secure Drive fikri ise bugün part time özel şoför hizmeti ile birlikte dört büyük şehirde “havalimanına ulaşmanın en ekonomik, en konforlu ve en çevreci” yolu olarak biliniyor ve her ay binlerce kişiye hizmet sağlıyor. Secure Drive fikri ile 2010 yılında Junior Chambers International tarafından Creative Young Enrteprenuer Award (yaratıcı genç girişimci ödülü) Türkiye birincisi seçildi ve Türkiye adına dünya yarışmasına, European Business Awards 2011’de Yılın Girişimcisi kategorisinde deTürkiye temsilcisi olarak finallere gitti.
Ne iş yaptığını soranlara “deli saçması işlerden para kazandığını” söylüyor. World Future Society üyesi, Fütüristler Derneği Başkanıdır.

Berk D. Demir

Born and raised in Ankara, Turkey; Berk had his first computer when he was 12. He was thinking of becoming a doctor but his trusty IBM PS/1 with a 286 processor was no more powerful enough for the cool games the cool kids played. Learning to program and computer internals quickly became the new game. Starting his own BBS and the first touch with the Internet at the National Science Foundation changed all the future plans. He started working in one of the first internet service providers in Ankara when he was 16, the same year he discovered Linux. With medical school off the table, Berk got his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Baskent University while working throughout his all education in various technology companies and university computer centers but most prominently for Andersen as a consultant agent focusing on information security, incident handling, computer forensics and Unix systems. Right after his graduation, Berk joined Meteksan Net, the biggest business-internet only ISP in Turkey of that time as an Internet Systems Engineer and continued his studies for Masters in Software Engineering at METU. After 2 years of tenure, he got transferred to the flagship company of Meteksan IT Group, Meteksan Sistem as a Solution Architect focusing on integration, scalability and security. For 4 years, Berk worked as the principal architect of many prominent e-government projects of the nation. Where he also created a product line of embedded network security and load balancing products. He also briefly led managed security services group which implemented nation’s biggest business continuity and disaster recovery projects and managed information security infrastructure mainly for government agencies and financial institutions. In 2009 he joined StumbleUpon as the Software Architect and moved to San Francisco, CA where he is working on projects that make StumbleUpon go faster and always available.

M. Gökhan Ahi

Born in 1974 in Gaziantep. Graduated in 1999 from the Faculty of Law, Istanbul University.
Mr. Ahi has been a member of and served two terms as chairman of the executive board of the Istanbul Bar Information and Technology Legal Center, which he founded. He has been engaged in NGO work as a member of the Board of Directors of Tüm İnternet Derneği (“Entire Internet Association”/TİD), the Board of Directors of the Turkish Digital Games Federation (TÜDOF), an active member of the Turkish Criminal Law Association, the Joint Platform Against Censorship, and the Turkish Information Technology Association (TBD). He is also a lecturer about “IT Crimes” at the Institute of Information Technology Law at Bilgi University.

Ahi’s articles on Information Technology have been published in a variety of journals and on various websites. He wrote articles on Information Technology Law between 2003 and 2009 for the Hürriyet Newspaper’s E. Yaşam supplement. He was also a columnist at Milliyet Newspaper, publishing articles related to SMEs on the newspaper’s website.

In addition, not only has Mr. Ahi been a speaker at a large number of symposia, conferences and panels on Information Technology Law, but he has also participated in the organization of most of them. He possesses a “Forensic Information Technology Specialist” certificate awarded by the Izmir Institute of Advanced Technology’s Faculty of Computer Engineering in 2007. He received a certificate from the “USA Law and Legal English” summer school organized by the William Mitchell College of Law in 2008.

Ahi is the owner and editor of the website hukukcu.com. Concentrating mostly on Criminal Law, Information Technology Law and Commercial Law, he serves as an attorney on information technology legal cases and as legal consultant to information technology, Internet and advertising companies.

He is a member of the International Technology Law Association (ITECHLAW), which brings together international technology lawyers.
Moreover, he is editor of and contributor to the Bilişim Hukuku Bülten (Information Technology Bulletin), which has begun publishing in the area of Information Technologies Law.

Omar Christidis is the Founder & CEO of ArabNet, the hub for Arab digital professionals and entrepreneurs. Every March, ArabNet organizes its annual Digital Summit, the region’s biggest event for the web and mobile industry; in 2011, the Summit brought together more than 1,000 attendees from 22 countries, featured 100 speakers in 40+ sessions, and showcased 20 pitches from promising entrepreneurs. Omar is also the Vice President of the family-owned business, IBAG, which has 15 years experience in organizing corporate events, and which manages the Digital Summit.

Omar is the Co-Founder of the Yale Arab Alumni Association, a community of over 200 Yale alumni and affiliates with an interest in the Arab world, and was Director of Development for the organization from 2007-2011. Raised in Lebanon, Omar holds a BA and MBA from Yale University, and has a background in consulting (at Booz & Co) and finance (at a private family office in New York).

Berna Şamiloğlu Acar iş hayatına 1995 yılında Arçelik’te başladı. Burada ‘Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi, Kalite Yönetimi, Değişim Yönetimi’ gibi farklı alanlarda değişik roller üstlendikten sonra 2003’te Turkcell’e İş Ortaklığı Strateji Uzmanı olarak katıldı. İçerik servisleri ve iş ortaklığı alanlarında değişik yöneticilik sorumluluklarının ardından 2007 yılında İş Ortaklığı Geliştirme Bölüm Başkanı olarak atandı. 2007-2011 tarihleri arasında İş Ortaklığı ve İnovasyon Yönetimi, Gelişen Servisler Yönetimi, Mobil Pazarlama ve Kullanıcı Deneyimi Programı’ndan sorumlu Bölüm Başkanlığı rollerini üstlendi. At Accel he has led investments in Abesmarket, Qriously and peerTransfer, was part of the Spotify investment team and also represents Accel on the board of Weeworld, Myheritage and Seeking Alpha.

Adam was most recently Global Head of Digital Media & New Business at Endemol (world’s largest TV producer). Prior to that he was a partner at venture capital firm Arts Alliance where he was involved with a number of companies including LOVEFiLM, Kenshoo, Propertyfinder, Prepay Technologies and Pi Capital. Adam was also co-founder and interim CEO of LOVEFiLM.
